Asslamu Alikum to all my Harari Brothers and
Sisters. The
Harari Millennium festival was the most spectacular event in
the history of Harar and Harari people at large. Although
poorly organized I have to admit, I hailed the spirit in the gathering
of the children of Harar (Aw-Abadir) from all over the world. We
all know how Hararis are like one family, almost everyone is somehow
related one way or another . The whole event
felt like it was a family gathering. Harar
felt like it was born again. The streets were bustling with
everyone walking up and down andgena (1st) menged. Smiling
at each other, greeting each other and meeting long time not seen
or heard from friends and relative. A lot of people with their
digital camera taking pictures and videos of sites, scenes, friends
and family and different event. Harar has been blessed, We,her
children have been blessed at last the Dua'a of the Awach and Ayach
have been answered where Hararis have come and gathered in their
homeland to celebrate the birth of the city and their identity. Specially
for those who have come from the Middle East, Europe, America, Canada,
Australia etc....with their children who were born outside Ethiopia
have given the event a real warm touch. I give a shout out and
Al Magan to all who made it and I am sure all of you who did not
make it, your Heart and Spirit was in Harar. In the end I would
like to make Shukur ( thanks) and praise to Allah who has made this
possible. Everyone
of us have plans and ideas but all comes into action by the Mercy
and permission of Allahu subhanahu watalla. Allhamdullilah
Rabil Allamin. We should always remember Allah and give praise
to him for all the Niema (blessing) and to me this is one of the
many blessing that Allah has bestowed on us. And who ever thanks
Allah for his blessing there will be more blessing. May Allah
guide us and protect all the Ummah of Rasul Sallahu aliehi wasslam Wasslamu
alikum warahmatullah weberakatuhu
